By day, Stephen St. Clair is your friendly neighborhood IT technician, keeping the internet alive and the servers running somewhere in the Midwest. By night, his alter ego takes over — and honestly, the alter ego is a lot more fun.

Stephen grew up buried in science fiction and fantasy, which probably explains a lot. These days he writes everything from sweeping Scottish historical romance to pulse-pounding adventure, and somehow makes it all work. Eight books in eight years will do that to a person.

He shares his life — and occasionally his manuscripts — with his wife and childhood sweetheart of twenty-seven years, who also happens to be a published author. Together they've co-authored a handful of books, which is either incredibly romantic or incredibly brave. Possibly both.

Stephen's wanderlust mentality has a habit of seeping into every story he tells. His goal is simple: hand you a good beverage, point you toward a comfortable chair, and take you somewhere you've never been before.
