Nearly a decade ago, our publishing journey began with a traditional publisher. That chapter taught us a great deal about writing, publishing, and the kind of creative life we wanted to build. Maybe more importantly, it taught us what we didn't want to give away: our voices, our vision, and the freedom to decide what our stories could become.
Inked Faerie Press grew from that realization.
We wanted a place where stories didn't have to fit neatly inside someone else's box. Where we could cross genres, take chances, create our own covers, follow an unexpected idea, rewrite what wasn't working, and let a story become what it was meant to be instead of what someone else expected it to be.
What began as a way to take ownership of our own work became something much bigger: a creative home built around curiosity, independence, and the stubborn belief that the best stories are worth doing our own way.
That freedom changed everything.
And it still shapes every story we put into the world.
We believe stories have the power to change us, both the ones we read and the ones we're brave enough to write.
At Inked Faerie Press, we believe there should always be room for another story. We're here for the readers who disappear into books and emerge a little different, and for the writers staring at an idea and wondering if they could really turn it into something more.
Because sometimes a story needs a reader. Sometimes it needs an editor, a little guidance, or someone who knows how to get it from a blinking cursor to a finished book. And sometimes it just needs someone to say, keep going.
