About
Iris Pendleton
Gothic Steampunk · Fantasy · Supernatural
Iris Pendleton writes stories that live in the space where the familiar world begins to fracture and something older slips through.
Her worlds are shaped by forgotten histories, dangerous magic, ancient bloodlines, and places that have kept their secrets for far too long. Here, power is rarely given freely. It is inherited, carried, called, stolen, or claimed, and it almost always comes at a cost.
Her characters are the ones who notice what others overlook. They ask the questions they were warned not to ask. They open the book, follow the passage, cross the threshold, and discover that some doors were locked for a reason.
Iris writes gothic and dark fantasy threaded with the supernatural, the strange, and the beautifully unsettling. Her stories wander through forgotten libraries, haunted places, impossible worlds, and histories that refuse to stay buried. There are no simple answers waiting at the end. Only choices, consequences, and the realization that some things cannot be put back the way they were.
Iris Pendleton is a name for the stories that remember what the world has tried to forget.
